Our work in computer vision systems for mobile robot and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) surveillance systems received some press coverage at the time.


MoD Grand Challenge 2008
Our work for the MoD Grand Challenge in 2008 culminating the challenge finale in August 2008 after a 12-month initial development of a multi-robot ground and air surveillance system by approximately 30+ scientists and engineers over 6 organisations.

Autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
The combined work of Blue Bear Systems Research (BBSR) in platform development and Cranfield University in automated target recognition realize an automated UAV search and surveillance system. This work formed part of the Stellar Team SATURN system that successfully competed in the MoD Grand Challenge, 2008.
